How We Price

Three modes of engagement. Pick the one that fits the shape of the work. Rates are available on request; the mechanics of each mode are below.

Project

Mode 01
Billing
Fixed price, invoiced against milestones.
Commitment
Defined scope with a target start and end date.
Best for
Migrations, deployments, assessments, and cutovers where everyone wants the cost and the timeline established before the work starts.

Retainer

Mode 02
Billing
Monthly, against a block of hours pre-purchased at the start of the month.
Commitment
Named engineer, rolling month. Unused hours roll once.
Best for
Teams that want a senior technical partner on call, not a ticket queue. Typical size: one to five employees doing the day-to-day IT, with Baseline handling architecture and escalation.

Advisory

Mode 03
Billing
Hourly, invoiced at end of month.
Commitment
None. Engaged by the call or by the hour.
Best for
Second opinions, architecture reviews, pre-purchase reality checks, and the short call that starts with, "before we sign this, can you look at it."
