How We Price
Three modes of engagement. Pick the one that fits the shape of the work. Rates are available on request; the mechanics of each mode are below.
Project
Mode 01- Billing
- Fixed price, invoiced against milestones.
- Commitment
- Defined scope with a target start and end date.
- Best for
- Migrations, deployments, assessments, and cutovers where everyone wants the cost and the timeline established before the work starts.
Retainer
Mode 02- Billing
- Monthly, against a block of hours pre-purchased at the start of the month.
- Commitment
- Named engineer, rolling month. Unused hours roll once.
- Best for
- Teams that want a senior technical partner on call, not a ticket queue. Typical size: one to five employees doing the day-to-day IT, with Baseline handling architecture and escalation.
Advisory
Mode 03- Billing
- Hourly, invoiced at end of month.
- Commitment
- None. Engaged by the call or by the hour.
- Best for
- Second opinions, architecture reviews, pre-purchase reality checks, and the short call that starts with, "before we sign this, can you look at it."
Requesting a Quote
To request a quote or confirm rates, contact the office on Sheet 7. A short call is usually enough to determine which mode fits and whether we are the right firm for the work.
